Owensboro High School is proud to be home to over 400 talented students who actively participate in our bands and guard programs each year. Our diverse music offerings include 5 concert bands, 4 jazz bands, the Owensboro Marching, 2 winter guards, percussion ensembles, and a pep band that bring our school and community together.

At Owensboro Bands, we believe in the power of music to shape minds, inspire hearts, and build a strong sense of community. Our program is home to a passionate group of students who are committed to excellence in music education and performance.
Each year, over 400 students come together as part of our vibrant music community, participating in concert bands, jazz bands, marching band, winter guard, and percussion ensembles. Through hard work, collaboration, and creative expression, our students develop not only as musicians but as leaders and teammates.
Our program is led by experienced and dedicated instructors who work closely with students to cultivate their musical talents and instill values of discipline, creativity, and teamwork. We are more than a band—we are a family that thrives on support, growth, and a shared love for music.
